We need to crop the images to make it display good on all spaces in your site, also it make your site faster for load. We can’t load native image because some images has big size ( some MBs ) and if we use it, your site will very slow for load.

I just checked your site and I see some images a bit blurry from itself. As you can see on our demos, we crop the images and it still display fine.

To add an new author, please go to admin page > Users > Add New

When you done, click to Users > All Users > hover on the author you want to edit/change/add profiles > Click edit. Scroll down and you will see options for Author Box and Role there.

You also can download & install plugin Simple Local Avatars – This plugin help you can change author avatar via an image from upload ( not need via Gavatar )

I see for now, you’re using Soledad About Me widget to do that. Ok, it’s ok.

If you want to make the contributors images to click out to their author pages, please replace the code you’re using now.
Note: You need to replace “author-page-url” on the code above to the link ( include http:// or https:// ) you want when click to each image.

Each image can have a different link.
